 Team 2 cardio lead is Sandy Lentz. Sandy is an experienced national figure competitor. She has more than 8 years experience in competition and fitness training along with a lifelong passion and knowledge of training and conditioning. Sandy is known for the Phat Camp “Staying Fit in Your 40s” program and is a role model for women not only in their 40s, but for those in their 20s and 80s alike. Sandy is a Phat Camp staff member, copy editor, a wife, and a mother of two. She delivered her first child at age 39, and welcomed her second child on September 16, 2008, at age 41.

Keeping fitness and health a priority during pregnancy, she jumped back in post-pregnancy with a renewed challenge to accomplish her personal fitness goals and get her “pre-baby body back” while striving to be her best at 40 and beyond. With a new family, Sandy has been able to transform the manner in which she approaches life and focuses on balance in everything. Fun, creative training and cardio are key aspects of her fitness program as well as achieving success in these areas.

You can work one-on-one with Sandy Lentz and Jen Hendershott as they assist you in making cardio more fun and more productive. They will design goal focused cardio programs JUST FOR YOU! There is no cookie cutter workouts or repeats with the “Life Phat” personal program. We will design your program to be as creative or as simple as it needs to be in order to coordinate with your goals and fitness level. We will accommodate to your schedule, to the equipment you have access to, and to your surroundings.

     I have been working with Sandy and the GetPHAT team for seven weeks now.  I love the way I feel and the new look of my body.  After 3 weeks, I started to see results.  I was starting to fit into clothes that over the summer had seemed to shrink.  Sandy has been designing my cardio sessions to work with my lifestyle and needs.  I have always loved to lift weights and have been doing so for some time with little results.  Part of the reason I wasn’t seeing results was because I HATED doing cardio.  It always seems so boring, and such a struggle to complete.  I have worked with other trainers, and there idea of cardio was running for 60 minutes 6 days a week.  Not with Sandy.  The cardio sessions are anything but boring.  The routines are ever changing.  There are very few workouts that require the same repetitive motion for the entire session.  I love it.  My legs and butt are my areas that need the most work, and my husband has commented a number of times that my legs are leaner now than they have ever been.  I have to attribute that to the weight training, but I think more importantly, to the cardio that is helping me to eliminate the excess fat covering up that new muscle I have built.  Sandy is very creative with her cardio routines and is always available to answer questions or to simply respond to a bad day.  I love the workouts that she creates for me, but the entire team has been remarkable helpful, creative and very supportive.   I love working with this team.  I am fortunate to have found them.  I am so glad that I made the decision to use their knowledge to change my life.  I want to say thank you to the entire team for working with me to achieve my goals.

     Sandy Lentz's cardio workouts have been challenging, diverse and quite enjoyable.  I usually find cardio to be quite boring, however, Sandy's customized workouts included just the right amount of variation that helped me to propel through them with energy!  Sandy includes workouts for a variety of cardio machines, such as the stepper, step mill, treadmill and elliptical.  She also includes challenging plyometric moves, such as squat thrusts and mountain climbers, into her workouts to both incorporate strength moves and to intensify the workouts.  My favorite cardio workouts that Sandy wrote for me included the jump rope and a challenging series of sprints.  I sincerely feel that my cardiovascular endurance has greatly increased during the time that I have worked with Sandy. 

Please let me know if this is not quite what you had in mind and I will edit/revise.  I really found that your cardio workouts have been the best part of the Live Phat program.  I have learned so much during the last 4 weeks!
